Overview
Towne Pharmacy is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring the safe, accurate dispensing of medications. We are looking for an energetic & cheerful person, to greet each customer with a helpful and positive attitude. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering phones, make outbound calls to patients and providers, use POS cash register, strong typing and data skills. Verify insurance and benefits.
Requirements
- Pharmacy experience preferred (Registered or Certified Technician) but willing to train the right individual
- Customer service experience
- Basics math and computer skills
- Eager to learn, take notes and follow direction
- Pass background and drug test
- Verifiable references and excellent attendance record
- Be able to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medication intake, documentation
- Must have a valid Ohio drivers license
- 40 hours a week
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
