Overview
Towne Machine Tool is seeking a dependable Manufacturing Floor Support Technician to join our team. This position supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with material handling, production support, deliveries, inventory organization, cutting operations, shipping preparation, and general shop activities.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in being dependable, and is willing to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment. Successful candidates should be comfortable working throughout the facility and supporting multiple departments as production demands require.
Work includes supporting machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, shipping, receiving, and general manufacturing operations. The position plays an important role in maintaining production flow and helping ensure jobs move efficiently through the shop.
Compensation based on demonstrated skill, experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate band saws, cold saws, and related equipment to cut raw material to size.
- Prepare, stage, and distribute materials for production jobs.
- Deliver and pick up materials, parts, and supplies as required.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and deliveries.
- Support machinists, welders, fabricators, and other production personnel.
- Deburr, clean, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory organization and material storage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Perform general shop support duties as required.
- Work independently while maintaining productivity and reliability.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
