This is a part-time role with a limit of 960 hours per year. Applicant must be available to work on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, as well as holidays.
The Town of Yountville Public Works Department is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to support the care, cleanliness, and safety of Town facilities and public spaces. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a welcoming community environment.
Essential Duties:
- Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms, windows, walls, and floors
- Pick up litter and empty trash containers
- Assist with minor building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and painting community buildings, benches, and equipment
- Help maintain and repair sprinklers and playground equipment
- Identify and remove potential hazards to ensure public safety
- Assist with securing Town facilities
Schedule & Hours:
This part-time position is capped at 960 hours per year and requires availability on:
- Friday – 6 hours
- Saturday – 3 hours
- Sunday – 3 hours
- Monday – 6 hours
- Holidays and special events as needed
Compensation:
- $23.32 – $28.35 per hour
