What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Craftsperson I (Sewer Pump Station) position at Town of Westborough (Massachusetts)?
The Town of Westborough Department of Public Works seeks applications from energetic, team-oriented individuals for the full-time position of Sewer Pump Station Operator. Position is primarily focused on maintenance activities associated with the town’s wastewater collection system to include pump station operation and maintenance. The position requires availability for on-call duties during inclement weather events and other emergencies.
To be considered for higher end wage range, applicants must possess a Massachusetts CDL Class B and Massachusetts Hoisting License for Backhoe/Front End Loader. Massachusetts Drinking Water license grade D1 required within one year of hire. The Department will assist with obtaining required license.
The position has a hiring range of $23.69-$28.19; full range to $32.66, depending upon qualifications. Benefits include 13 paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, sick days, and various stipends, including clothing allowance.
