The Town of Westborough Department of Public Works seeks applications from energetic, team-oriented individuals for the full-time position of Maintenance Craftsperson I (Forestry/Tree Division). Position is primarily focused on removal and planting of town trees. Essential functions of the position include tree trimming, tree cutting, chipping, and planting. The position requires availability for on-call duties during inclement weather events and other emergencies including snow and tree removal.
To be considered for higher end wage range, applicants must possess a Massachusetts CDL Class B and Massachusetts Hoisting License for Backhoe/Front End Loader.
The anticipated hiring range is $23.69 – $28.19 (full range to $32.66) Benefits include 13 paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation at start, sick days, and various stipends.
