What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic/Laborer position at Town of Webster?
The Town of Webster Highway Department is now accepting applications for the Full-Time (40 hours/week) position of Mechanic/Laborer. Applicants must possess an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certifications. Must also possess or be willing to obtain a Class B CDL and Air Brakes Endorsement License. Applicants must have 1 to 3 years of experience working on Freightliners, John Deere (backhoe/Loaders), Ford/Chevrolet vehicles and small engines. Knowledge of welding and metal fabrication required and must have own tools and access to specialty tools. Must be available to work overtime during all emergencies; storms, adverse weather conditions and snow plowing/removal. Starting pay $29.15 per hour with full benefits package.
