Position: Long-Term Sub-Language Arts Teacher
Description: The Administration is seeking a long-term substitute qualified by education and experience to carry out the duties assigned to the position and, in general, to establish and maintain a high level of standards of excellence in the Vernon Public Schools.
Bachelor's degree or higher required. State of Connecticut Certification #015 preferred.
Salary and Benefits: This is a temporary position with no associated benefits. Daily rate is $130 with potential for a higher rate based on education and/or experience.
Start date: August 27, 2026
