What’s a Job Share?
This position is shared between two professionals working together to fulfill one full-time role. It offers flexibility, collaboration, and a supportive work environment. This is ideal for those seeking part-time work with full-time impact.
Schedule Details:
The job share team will coordinate and agree upon a flexible schedule that best suits both individuals and the needs of the Town. Together, the team will cover the equivalent of 40 hours per pay period (two weeks), offering the right balance of structure and flexibility.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be the warm and welcoming face of our Town Hall—answer phones and assist the public at the front desk
- Provide professional support to all departments, handling a variety of administrative tasks and projects
- Manage payments, process mail and packages
- Maintain and purchase essential office supplies
- Help coordinate staff meetings, town events, and employee celebrations
- Support community programs like the Adopt-a-Street initiative and Timnath Reservoir Management
- Keep things running smoothly: calendar management, meeting room set-up/clean-up, credit card reconciliation, facilities tasks, and more!
- Participate in the Safety & Wellness Committees to collaboratively assist with making our workplace the best it can be
What You Bring:
- A friendly, professional, customer-first attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational wizardry and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office equipment
- Confidence in managing multiple tasks and helping others
- A Notary certification (training for certification will be provided if not currently certified)
- A positive energy for variety, teamwork, and community service
