Duties
- Manage and organize legal case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible
- Assist in courtroom procedures by preparing necessary documents and supporting court staff during hearings
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and procedural compliance
- Enter data accurately into case management systems, maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Handle clerical tasks such as typing legal documents, drafting correspondence, and updating records using Microsoft Office tools
- Support customer service efforts by responding to inquiries from attorneys, litigants, and the public with professionalism and clarity
- Maintain procedural law knowledge to ensure compliance with court policies and legal standards
Requirements
- Prior experience as a paralegal or in legal administrative roles is highly preferred
- Strong research skills with the ability to interpret procedural law and legal terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated clerical experience involving data entry, filing, and document management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of courtroom procedures, legal case management systems, and legal drafting techniques

Pay: $17.00 - $17.70 per hour
