Duties

- Issue permits in accordance with Town Ordinances and State Statutes.
- Investigate complaints related to code violations and take appropriate enforcement actions.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings from inspections and investigations.
- Collaborate with local agencies and departments to address compliance issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, violations, and resolutions for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Educate property owners and the public about relevant codes and regulations to promote compliance.
- Stay informed about changes in OSHA standards, FDA regulations, and other relevant legislation impacting code enforcement.
