What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crossing Guard position at Town of Simsbury?
Under the general supervision of the Crossing Guard Supervisor, prepares and supervises crossing zones in order to assist children and pedestrians in crossing streets safely. This is a seasonal position generally available during the scheduled school between September - June.
RATE OF PAY:
There are up tp two shifts per day (morning and afternoon). The pay for working a single shift is $17.50 per diem. The pay for working both shifts per day is $35.00 per diem.
HOURS:
7:45 am – 8:15 am
2:30 pm – 3:45 pm
*Must be available mornings and afternoons.
LOCATIONS:
This position supports Central, Latimer, Squadron and Tariffville schools.
