The Executive Assistant to the Town Manager provides high-level administrative and professional support to the Town Manager, Assistant Town Managers, and Select Board, ensuring the seamless operation of Shrewsbury’s Office of the Select Board & Town Manager. Serving as a trusted partner and strategic resource, the Executive Assistant plays a highly visible and vital role in the governance of the Town.

You will
- Facilitate Select Board operations: agendas, minutes, hearings, and action tracking.
- Manage board and committee appointments from posting to onboarding.
- Administer Select Board licensing and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead customer service for the office by triaging and responding to resident and business inquiries.
- Provide executive support: calendars, correspondence, and material development.
- Steward records and publications and support payroll/AP for the office.
- 4 years of senior executive support; municipal or public-sector experience preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing with a high level of attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Open Meeting Law and Public Records.
- Sound judgment, confidentiality, and calm coordination across stakeholders.
- Proficiency with common software platforms and business systems.
