Job description: Job Opportunity: Wastewater Operator (Full-Time)Location: Santa Claus, IN
Salary: Based on experience and licensurePosition Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Wastewater Operator to join our team. This full-time position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of our wastewater collection and treatment systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the wastewater collection system to ensure optimal performance
- Wastewater collection system maintenance and repair
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues as they arise
- Operate and maintain plant equipment and processes
- Conduct laboratory duties and tests to ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in utilities is preferred
- Electrical experience is preferred
- Must be able to obtain a Class III Wastewater Operator License from IDEM within three years of hire
