Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Essential job function training is delivered by Public Works staff to provide you with the skill set to saw cut, pull, form, pour and finish concrete projects utilizing a combination of hand tools, gas powered tools as well as heavy equipment. Under direct supervision and training by the Streets Crew Leader, the purpose of the position is to assist with repair and replacement of streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, stormwater inlets and outfalls in order to maintain the integrity of the Town’s infrastructure. This position is responsible for working independently or as part of a work crew depending on nature of assigned tasks. This position also requires an individual to be on-call during certain periods and respond to requests after hours if necessary. Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and strive for success by demonstrating the Town of Prospers Core Values.
