The Basketball Skills Instructor leads youth in structured practices focused on developing fundamental basketball techniques such as dribbling, shooting, and passing. Responsibilities include planning drills, setting up equipment, instructing participants, and maintaining a safe, supportive practice environment.
The hours for this position vary by program availability.
Applicant must have or be willing to obtain CPR/first aid certification. The qualifications required would generally be acquired with a high school degree and two years experience working with children; or any equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Must have a demonstrated interest and some expertise in basketball. The pay rate for this position is $25 to $35 per class, based on experience.
