In This Position, You Will

• Educate patrons in locating materials or information in all areas of
  
  

the library. Provide readers advisory services and assist patrons in

the use of all library technologies.

• Address escalated or complex patron issues, library system or policy
  
  

items as assigned.

• Collaborate with the Circulation Supervisor to maintain the
  
  

Automated Materials Handler.

• Reconcile daily cash deposits, copier deposits, and Go Print
  
  

deposits.

• Resolve issues with damaged and/or problem items.
• Sort, shelve, and maintain the order and presentation of library
  
  

materials according to Librarys standards.

• Provide customer service to internal and external customers, greet,
  
  

receive, address, and resolve customer questions as able and refer

complex inquiries, requests or complaints to appropriate staff.

• Work service desk, assisting patrons with checking out library
  
  

materials and using public computers.

• Register patrons for library cards, help with fees, place holds, and
  
  

perform payment transactions.

• Oversee scheduling for public service points and maintain the
  
  

schedule for all staff.

• May be assigned lead functions over Assistants as assigned.
