Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Process Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment at our wastewater treatment plant and pump station facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of sludge conveyors, sludge dewatering presses, aerators, pumps, and other process equipment.
- Using electronic diagnostic equipment, trace out and repair any process equipment issues.
- Repair valves, electric motors, chemical feed pumps, water pumps, blowers, mixers, well pumps, and other process equipment.
- Maintain the treatment plant in a neat and satisfactory manner, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with vocational training in industrial maintenance.
- Practical experience in industrial process equipment repair.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
