What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Inspector / Code Enforcement Officer position at Town of Ocean City Maryland?
The Building and Inspection Division is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time position. Work schedule is forty (40) hours per week. Starting salary is $23.54/hour based on qualifications. Duties include performing regular inspections of properties in Ocean City, MD relating to International Property Maintenance Code (2018), IRC, IBC, Municipal Code and assisting in office support of rental housing inspections, citations, reporting and record keeping. Experience in construction and/or knowledge of building codes is preferred. Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license, and pass drug test and background check.
