Airport Attendant - Part-Time (24 Hours/Week)
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour | Weekend Availability is a MUST
Department: Airport | Reports to: Airport Manager
SUMMARY
Performs cleaning, general maintenance, and daily operations of the Millinocket Municipal Airport
terminal, grounds, and hangars. This is a 24-hour per week part-time position. Weekend availability is
required. Excellent customer service is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Operate and maintain airport terminal building and grounds
- Perform light maintenance, mowing, and cleaning
- Assist with hangar operations including safely moving airplanes
- Safely fuel aircraft with Avgas and Jet Fuel (TankSmart B & C training provided)
- Provide retail sales of aircraft parts and pilot supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to pilots and the public
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Maine Class C driver's license
- TankSmart B & C Certificate (in-house training provided)
- Ability to read safety rules and procedures and communicate effectively
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
