What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Police Dispatcher position at Town of Meredith?
The Part-Time Police Dispatcher receives emergency and non-emergency requests for Police assistance, determines nature/urgency of call, and initiates police or other emergency personnel action. A dispatcher operates a variety of communications equipment including radio consoles, telephones, and computer systems. Position requires shift work: days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Successful applicant must pass a background check.
Minimum Qualifications
United States citizen, high school diploma or equivalent, and must have previous EMS dispatch/communication experience
Salary Range
$22.66 per hour
