Information Technology Coordinator
The Town of Marion, MA is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) IT Coordinator to perform professional and technical work administering, implementing, coordinating and supporting the Town’s information technology systems infrastructure including desk top software support, system and network operations, in-vehicle computers and server systems within the Town’s Public Safety and General Government Departments. This role has the opportunity to grow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field;
2 years’ experience administering a Microsoft Windows network or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of networks and servers.
- Provide technical support and desktop assistance to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Implement business continuity plans and maintain documentation for IT governance.
- Supervise IT projects, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies and timely completion.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance system functionality and support software development initiatives.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $27.65 per hour
