Shaker Lane - Kindergarten Teacher (one year position)

• Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students • Plan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needs • Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff. • Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs. • Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning, and instructional strategies • Evaluate student progress which includes report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary • Appropriate DESE licensure is required • Other duties assigned by the building administration

Salary : $50,700 - $113,500
