As a Custodian, you will be responsible for executing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks with enthusiasm and attention to detail, ensuring our spaces are pristine and well-maintained every day.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without risk.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment.
• Maintain facilities by performing routine custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high sanitation standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely while adhering to safety protocol guidelines.
• Support general maintenance tasks including minor repairs and residential painting as needed to keep the environment in optimal condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or facility concerns from staff or visitors with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Proven custodial or janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Experience handling chemical agents safely in compliance with safety protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent sanitation skills to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently.
• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Good communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented mindset.

Pay: $18.72 - $28.83 per hour
