The Town of Lexington is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant II in the Parks and Community Services Department. Under occasional supervision, performs responsible secretarial, administrative and clerical work in support of efficient and effective Parks and Community Services Department operations. Prepares a variety of forms, requisitions, records, reports and correspondence as necessary. Processes department time sheets and assists with budget preparation.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by two to three years of general secretarial and/or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
