What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Park and Event Attendant position at Town of Leesburg?
This is a seasonal flexible part-time position as a hands-on, entry level job designed for the person looking to get experience in the Parks and Recreation profession; particularly in events, tourism and parks management. Work will be both individual and team oriented. This is skilled work, which involves maintenance and operation of all parks and open spaces throughout the town, as well as event implementation and management. Work includes the operation of power and automotive equipment in the performance of required work tasks. Tasks are completed during park and/or event operational hours, seven days a week.

- CPR and First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

- Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation field or equivalent experience and/or education.
- Basic knowledge of athletic activities, facility supervision or event coordination.
Salary : $16 - $22
