What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Supervisor (MOD) position at Town of Leesburg?
This is responsible building and staff supervision work that involves overseeing the safe and effective operation of buildings, facilities and equipment in recreational facilities for the Parks and Recreation Department. Work also involves the indirect responsibility for the supervision of all on-duty personnel. Work involves responsibility for indirectly supervising on-duty staff, ensuring building, facility, and equipment safety; performing record keeping procedures and security checks; distributing flyers and other information regarding activities; participating and implementing programs, activities, and special events; and enforcing established policies and procedures. This is not a maintenance position. This is not a seasonal position.
- Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
- Experience and knowledge of recreation facility building operations, procedures and practices, and providing customer service.
- Ability to obtain Standard First Aid and CPR within one month of employment.
