Distinguishing features of the class: On a part-time basis the work involves teaching Studio in Art Classes.
Typical work activities: Engages students in a variety of Studio in Art Classes for Elementary students during the 5 week summer program.
Full performance knowledges, skills, abilities and personal characteristics: Knowledge of elementary art curriculum; ability to effectively engage students in learning activities; to be able to establish rapport with students involved in the summer program.
Minimum Qualifications: Completion of bachelor’s degree in education or two years in a college education program
Job type: Part-time during five week summer program
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00
Expected hours: 10 to 20 hours per week for 5 week period during summer months
Schedule: Within these hours: 8:00am – 1:00pm, Monday through Thursday
Experience: Teaching 1 year (preferred)
