_{As a department, we face interesting challenges in our future - implementation of our new Comprehensive Plan (2021), the fast-pace of development, and updating and innovating processes and systems. We are seeking a candidate that offers knowledge, expertise, and energy to fill our Planner III position.} 

_{In this high-energy, high-production environment, a candidate must be eager to learn, grow as a professional and a planner, and be ready to jump in with both feet. As a member of the Planning team, our Planner III performs a wide variety of municipal planning and project management functions, including land use planning and research, code updates, administration and management associated with the overall development process, mentoring of planners, daily “on-call” planning questions, and ancillary land use and development functions. Candidates work under the direct supervision of the Director to carry out assigned duties, functions, roles, and projects in both routine and complex circumstances.}
