Job Description
The Town of Jackson, WY is now accepting applications for a Transportation Planning and Engineering Intern to assist with transportation system policy, monitoring, and program implementation. $19/hr, up to 35 hrs/wk for up to 12 weeks for Summer 2026.
Depending on skills/experience, duties include: assisting the Transportation Manager with Integrated Transportation Plan (ITP) policy and implementation including examining/collecting traffic count data, reviewing plans, evaluating and documenting best practices and associated paperwork and duties as assigned.
Qualifications: preference is to hire a college graduate or a candidate working toward Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation Planning, Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Business or related field OR 4 years relevant work experience in transportation planning and travel demand management.
Housing is not provided with internship.
