What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labor Foreman position at Town of Irondequoit?
The Town of Irondequoit is seeking an experienced leader to oversee major functions within the Department of Public Works. This position is responsible for the supervision of several small crews or one large crew in construction, maintenance, repair and cleaning work. Employees may assist with the hands-on work. Duties include scheduling and reviewing daily assignments of crew workers while providing general supervision. This position is responsible for sanitary sewer service and maintenance, pump station management but may be assigned other duties within the Department of Public Works. There is an “On-Call” requirement 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for emergencies, including snow and ice removal.
