Town of Ipswich seeks qualified candidates for the full-time position of Communication Officer.

Position is responsible for responding to E911 and business calls to the combined Police/Fire Dispatch Center. Candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent and one-year dispatch or related experience, or an equivalent combination. Certifications in emergency medical dispatching and CPR preferred. Must have ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a variety on internal and external constituencies and the ability to work independently and in high stress situations.
