What are the responsibilities and job description for the Highway Superintendent position at Town of Highlands?
The Town of Highlands is currently seeking to fill the full time position of Highway Superintendent. The position is responsible for planning, directing and supervising the activities of the highway department which includes the improvement, repair, care and maintenance of designated highways within the Town of Highlands. The position is also responsible for the sanitation department, cemetery maintenance and sales of burial plots, parks, buildings and grounds maintenance. Snow removal and repair and maintenance of the Town’s vehicles is also the responsibility of the Highway Superintendent. The position requires exercise of independent judgment, keeping within and preparing the budget, and supervising the highway and sanitation crews.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
