- May sweep streets, gutters, and alleys, parks and open fields
- May load garbage and/or recycling onto trucks
- May mow lawns, plants bulbs, shrubs and trees; spreads fertilizers, digs ditches, cleans culverts and catch basins
- May load and unload equipment and supplies
- May operate motorized equipment
