Spend your summer working in beautiful Hampton Beach! Help keep the area clean by collecting litter from roadways, sidewalks and parking lots along Hampton Beach, town beaches, and public areas and roadways in Town. Mornings only - have your afternoons and evenings free!
Job Responsibilities

- Collects solid waste and recycling from public containers; prepares it for pick-up by other Town employees; and relines containers as necessary.
- Collects solid waste/litter from Town beaches; sidewalks; parking lots; and roadways and deposits into appropriate containers.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age. Beach Crew workers must be able to work on the weekends. Must be dependable!
Ability and skill in the use of tools and equipment necessary for the job; ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions; ability to perform moderate physical labor under adverse weather and/or working conditions; ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees.
Employee spends most of the work day standing/walking or operating equipment. Performs light to moderate physical labor. Stoops; kneels; crouches; and/or crawls. Frequently lifts and/or moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds such as tools; equipment; trash containers; etc. Manually operates department tools and equipment.
Majority of work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions with exposure to dirt; dust; grease; garbage; refuse and other disagreeable materials. Subject to the hazards associated with road work sites; collecting rubbish; and working with/around vehicles and tools. Work environment can be loud.
