Part-Time (32 hours per week)
The Town of Halifax is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Town Clerk in the Town Clerk’s office.
Responsibilities include a wide range of administrative tasks such as recording and processing vital statistics, voter registration, issuing licenses and permits, typing, filing, and assisting with the coordination of Town, State and Federal election proceedings. Prior municipal experience is a plus.
Hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday – Thursday, (32 hours per week) plus benefits.
Pay rate: $21.00 per hour to $25.17 per hour (Grade 7). This position is eligible for benefits.
