Food Service Worker

Part-Time, up to 19 hours/week
STARTING RATE: $18.00 / hour
POSITION RANGE: $18.00 – $19.00 / hour
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Food Service Worker supports daily kitchen operations through food preparation, serving, and restocking while maintaining a clean, safe environment. A key component of this role is providing exemplary customer service to our Seniors—answering questions and assisting with meal service. Additionally, this position handles cashiering as a primary responsibility
Candidates in this role typically possess a high school diploma and two years of satisfactory experience in a food service facility. ServSafe certification (or an equivalent) is required. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to read and follow directions, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude toward customer service. Preferred qualifications include experience in commercial food service, familiarity with health codes, and computer skills.
The physical demands of the position require the ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
