This hourly position provides labor for the Town's special events. Responsible for setting up, staffing, and tear down of events. This is a labor intensive job and might require you to work long periods of time (up to 12 hours). This is a physically demanding position requiring the use of hand and power tools and manual labor.

- Run the Rockies Trail Race (August 8, 2026)
- Frisco Fall Fest (September 12, 2026)
- Run the Rockies Road Race (September 19, 2026)
- Concerts in the Park - every Thursday night starting 6/25 (10 weeks)
- Mountain Goat Kids Races (6/16, 6/30, 7/14, & 7/28)

Job Summary: Provides assistance in the organization, supervision and coordination of Town of Frisco special events. Assists with training and supervision of Special Event members prior to and during events.
- Assists with supervising special events staff and staging special events and Town functions including the following:
- Set-up and take-down of street closures with cones and signage
- Tent set-up and take-down
- Table and chair set-up and take-down
- Trash removal during events
- Clean-up after events, including waste (trash, recycling and compost) removal and return of equipment used during event
- Set-up and take-down of Town portable stage and lighting
- Set-up, take-down and troubleshooting of event electric
- Traffic and parking direction
- Marshals for parades
- Course marshals and other duties associated with athletic events
- Miscellaneous event tasks – including ticket selling, registration, etc.
- Assists with various marketing, public relations and planning tasks prior to events, including:
- General administrative tasks including mailings and follow up phone calls
- Assist with scheduling Special Event team
- Grocery and miscellaneous shopping
- Staging of supplies and event equipment
- Poster distribution
- Solicitation of raffle prizes from local merchants
- Follows safety practices, operating rules and regulations at all times.
- Delivers exceptional guest service to all customers guests, vendors, competitors and performers during events.
- Visitor information Center support and assistance.
- Assists with purchasing of goods following Town of Frisco policies.
- Ability to function and make good decisions in the absence of a supervisor.
- Communicates in a timely and professional manner with citizens, visitors, and Town of Frisco staff.
- Adheres to Town of Frisco and Marketing and Communications policies, standards, and regulations including but not limited to proper attire, safety procedures, and overall professionalism.
- Works in a team-based environment supporting the Marketing and Communications Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director and Managers.
- Assists in all other aspects of the Marketing and Communications Department operations as necessary.
- Set up and tear down meeting rooms in town buildings.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
- A valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- CPR/AED & First Aid Certification (Provided by the Town)
- Previous electrical events experienced
- At least six (6) months of events experience in similar environment
- Must be 21 years old
- Able to drive a truck with an attached trailer preferred
