This hourly position is responsible for participating in daily activities with youth enrolled in the camp programs. Recreation Junior Attendants are responsible for assisting the Recreation Youth Attendants with preparing and implementing programs or activities with camp participants. Recreation Junior Youth Attendants are also responsible for delivering exceptional guest service for the Recreation Department and the Town of Frisco.

Desired start date: 11/14/2025 & estimated end-of-season date: 5/29/2026

Schedule: M, T, Th, F 3:40pm-5:30pm

W 2:50-4:30pmEducation: Must be a current High School student

• May work minicamps Mon-Fri 7.5 hours
• Responsible for creating a fun and energetic environment for the campers on a daily basis.
• Participates in program activities and ensure children and youth are engaged and fully participating.
• Assists in the preparation, implementation and clean-up of programs and activities.
• Ensures that facilities are clean, well-maintained, safe and presentable to customers and participants throughout daily operations.
• Communicates in a timely and professional manner with citizens, visitors, and Town of Frisco staff.
• Adheres to all Town of Frisco and Recreation Department policies and procedures; including but not limited to safety standards.
• Works in a team-based environment supporting the Recreation Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director and Managers.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
  
  

Computer Operations: Microsoft Excel, Publisher and Word experience-preferred

Licenses, Certifications or Accreditations: Community CPR/AED and First Aid, and PDT within 60 days of hire- required

Previous Work Experience: 1 year working with youth-preferred

Language Ability: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English-required

Other: Must be at least 16 years of age- required
