What You’ll Do
- Operate and maintain heavy and light equipment: dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, excavators, sewer cleaning equipment, and more.
- Excavate trenches, repair water/sewer lines, and maintain utility systems.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Work safely in public areas and assist other Public Works tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license; able to obtain Texas Class A CDL within 6 months.
- Minimum 1 year of equipment operation experience.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, work in all weather, and respond to on-call emergencies.
