The Town of Danvers welcomes applications for the full-time position of AMI Support Specialist with the Electric Division. The AMI Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Electric Division personnel with the coordination and data administration for the installation and maintenance of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure system and assist in all aspects of the AMI equipment changeout process.
The Town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteering, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item in the qualification section of the job description is labeled required.
What We Are Looking For
This position works 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. Non-Union pay scale (Grade 11) starting at $70,876.00, with the ability to move through scale to the max step at $87,886.24. Hiring rate DOQ. Excellent benefits including educational and professional development opportunities.

What We Are Looking For
- High school or trade school education or equivalent required with concentration in specialized electrical course(s), data analytics, or computer science preferred
- Three (3) years minimum experience in data administration and/or meter reading required.
- Experience with computers and Microsoft Office is required.
- Valid driver’s license.
