What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Planning And Development position at Town of Cromwell, CT?
We are currently looking for a Director of Planning and Development.
The Director of Planning and Development plans, directs and coordinates municipal activities related to the planning and implementation of programs having to do with orderly land use development and growth of the Town. Conducts studies, and provides technical advice, information and policy recommendations on matters relating to land use and development, housing, transportation, economic development and related municipal planning areas. and Provides staff assistance to, and coordinates the activities of, the Planning and Zoning Commission, Economic Development Commission, Inland Wetland and Watercourses Agency other agencies as directed. Supervises the Zoning and Wetlands Enforcement Officer and performs the Enforcement Officer's duties in his/her absence.
