AQUATICS SUPERVISOR | CONCORD, MA

Are you passionate about aquatics and ready to make the next splash in your career? The Town of Concord’s Recreation Department, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Aquatics Supervisor to assist in leading our aquatics team and programs!

In this role, you will assist in overseeing the planning and management of a variety of engaging aquatic programs, including swim lessons, competitive swimming, aquatic fitness, and family swim activities. You’ll ensure safety across all facilities by managing lifeguard teams and maintaining compliance with state health and safety standards. Leading a team of dedicated staff, you will foster a culture of teamwork and excellence, while collaborating on facility maintenance, special events, and shaping the future of aquatic services in our vibrant community.

The Concord Recreation Department’s mission is to support and promote community through wellness and play. With a team of 16 full-time employees and over 150 part-time seasonal employees, we are proud to serve as a regional leader in municipal recreation services. Our team offers innovative and expansive programs and events year-round for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Employees of the Recreation Department receive free memberships to the Beede Swim and Fitness Center, significant discounts to childcare programs including summer camp and preschool, as well as generous discounts to other year-round program offerings.

Starting salary range: $34.82 to $41.62 per hour; $72,431.58 to $86,562.58 per year, based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, on-site position, with a complete benefits package.

Appointment of the final candidate will be contingent upon the results of pre-placement conditions including criminal and motor vehicle record checks, CORI/SORI checks, a physical exam, and a drug screening. Costs for these pre-placement requirements will be borne by the Town.
