JOB REQUIREMENTS: Chippewa County is accepting applications for Veterans
Services Specialist position within the Veterans Service Department. The
job duties of the Veterans Services Specialist include but are not
limited to provide information, assistance, and support to Veterans,
dependents, or survivors regarding benefit availability and eligibility
under the guidance of the Veterans Service Director; to provide
administrative support to the Veterans Service Director and the Veterans
Service Commission; and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient
service to County residents and the general public. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree
in clerical science area required. Three (3) years\' recent work
experience in a clerical setting required. Must obtain accreditation as
an accredited representative by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
through a service organization or Wisconsin Department of Veterans
affairs within one (1) year from date of hire into position. A valid
