What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Driver/ Building Supervisor position at Town of Cheshire, CT?
The Town of Cheshire seeks qualified individuals to apply for this non-exempt, per diem position that performs duties as both a Building Supervisor and a Transportation Driver. Ability to work with the senior adult and disabled population, providing safe, dependable, and efficient transportation for Cheshire's senior citizens and disabled residents, driving a van or bus through the Town's transportation system. Minimum of an "F" endorsement on a valid State of Connecticut driver license is required. A CDL is preferred. Building Supervisor duties include assisting in the security and maintenance of Town buildings as assigned. Ability to work indoors and outdoors, depending upon programming. Rearranging furniture, clearing walkways, sanding, shoveling, and the opening and closing of buildings for meetings or events. Two positions are available.
Pay: $17.25 per hour.
