The individual in this position is responsible for providing excellent guest service; greeting guests; conducting membership, pass and pro-shop sales, monitoring on ice activities, light custodial duties; and providing information and explanation of services and programs offered by the Recreation Department. - Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Must have received a High School diploma or GED, or must be currently enrolled in High School/GED program.
- Must have one (1) or more years of customer service experience.
- One (1) or more years of cash handling experience required.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
- Basic CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications are required within 60 days of hire.
- Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) required within 60 days of hire.
- One (1) or more years of experience working in a recreation facility preferred.
- One (1) or more years of retail experience preferred.
- Intermediate or higher level ice skating skills desired.
- Knowledge and/or experience with organized hockey and/or figure skating programs desired.
- Candidates with availability to work daytime shifts during the week and weekend shifts, and who have flexibility to work two (2) or more shifts per week are desired.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Primary shifts for this position are typically six to eight (6-8) hours in length and generally include weekends, holidays, days, and nights between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and midnight, and a typical schedule of 10 to 20 hours per week, with additional hours as needed. Individuals in this position must be flexible in terms of availability; and may on occasion be required to work other shifts as needed, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
