TOWN OF BLOOMSBURG PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The Town of Bloomsburg Municipality is an equal opportunity employer. The Town is hiring a Parking Enforcement Officer in the Police Department. This is a non-bargaining position that is full time consisting of 40 hours a week. The parking enforcement officer monitors street parking/ parking lots to identify illegally and improperly parked cars, and writes tickets for parking violations. The officer will enforce parking regulations in the assigned area while driving a parking enforcement car, bicycle or walking on foot. The officer must have excellent communication skills with the ability to write tickets for illegally or improperly parked vehicles. The 40 hours will range within Monday- Saturday from 7:00 a.m.- 7 p.m. The range of pay is $12- $15 per hour for 2022. This position has an excellent benefit package, consisting of paid time off, sick time accrual, no contribution to a 7% annual pension program with a five-year vesting period, and medical coverage. There is a six-month probationary period. Candidates must have the ability to stay calm and be positive to citizens and coworkers.
