Seasonal Parks and Cemetery Laborer

Job Summary: The Town of Auburn’s Department of Public Works is seeking a Seasonal Parks & Cemetery Laborer to assist with maintenance and upkeep of our parks and cemetery grounds.
Seasonal Position: Spring through Fall
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Hourly: $15.00/hour
May - June: 7:00AM- 3:00PM
June - Fall: 6:30AM- 2:30PM

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mowing lawns and weed waking
• Trash removal and general grounds maintenance
• Assisting with landscaping tasks
• Performing other duties as assigned by the DPW Superintendent

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
