TOWN OF AFTON NOW HIRING – POLICE SERGEANT
The Town of Afton Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Police Sergeant. This leadership position serves as a first-line supervisor responsible for overseeing patrol operations, mentoring officers, responding to critical incidents, ensuring compliance with department policies, and supporting community-oriented policing.
Salary: $35.00–$38.00 per hour (DOE)
Benefits: Employer-paid health insurance and Wyoming Retirement System benefits

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience, current Wyoming P.O.S.T. Certification (or the ability to obtain certification through reciprocity), a valid driver's license, and demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and supervisory skills. The successful candidate must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, psychological evaluation, medical examination, and drug screening.
