Town House Specialty Cleaning Co. is seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaners to perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties at assigned locations. The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment while meeting Company and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean assigned areas and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, and floors, as applicable.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.
- Perform routine and periodic/deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Follow Company safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or other issues to a supervisor.
- Complete assigned work within established schedules and service standards.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned based on operational needs.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work the schedule required for the assigned location.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay rate: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on the position, location, experience, and other job-related factors.
