We are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our team members. We have a vacant spot for a well-organized and committed dishwasher. Your main duties will include and washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment as well as cleaning restaurant lobby and bathrooms. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of clean dishes and maintaining a spotless kitchen and restaurant. On occasion, you will be asked to remove dishes (plates and flatware) from the tables in the dining room, assist with unloading delivery trucks, clean cook stations, kitchen appliances, and equipment.
Our goal is to employ a person with excellent time management and communication skills. You will be working in a kitchen for most of your workday, which means that you will also have to abide by food safety procedures and regulations. Main Responsibilities for a Dishwasher:
- Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing flatware, dishes, pans, and pots
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
- Bussing tables from dining room to collect soiled plates and flatware
- Clean kitchen appliances and machines as well as walk-in coolers and storage spaces
- Assist team members to unload and store deliveries
- Take out the trash and used kitchen oil
- Clean bathrooms, restaurant lobby and parking lot
- Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
- Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
Dishwasher Job Requirements:
- Work experience as a dishwasher or housekeeper preferred
- Must be willing to learn to operate different types of kitchen equipment
- Must follow all food safety procedures
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs
